I'M ALIVE!!!

• I graduated from high school in summer of 2006. YAY!
  
• I'm currently attending UT at Austin, majoring in anthropology and minoring in biology.
• That also means I currently reside in Austin.
  
• I just started getting into manga/anime (Death Note) as well as Asian music (J-pop/J-rock/C-pop, etc.)
• I currently have this annoying pimple on my chin and slightly above my left eyebrow.
• To my dismay, I have gotten a slight tan.
• I currently have a boyfriend named Ryan.
• I'm bored... which isn't really an update, but I dunno what else to say.
• I am glad/sad to say that I still procrastinate daily.

So many days away from my dear "diary".  I haven't had any access to the public library and I lost the proxy settings thingy for the the school so I can't it at school like it did last year. I'm at Nady's house.

My computer's internet's now right now. It been down since yesterday and my Eulogy project is due tomorrow. I'm supposed to be doing it on a dude named Jonathan Shipley. He's a bishop. That's all I know.  I need more info, but I guess I could always make up some stuff. hehe...  I mean... he's um... white. And... um... dead. And... breathed once. *sigh* I don't even know the year he died. That just sucks. Hm... maybe I should continue to search - AFTER I finish this. I mean... about 2 months of not posting is too long a time, yes?

Well, nothing much has happened. I took the PSATs on Saturday which I thought was less hard, but I thought I could've done better. I'm very sure I'm not going to get higher than a 180 and even a 170, but whatever. It's my third time taking this stupid thing. BLEH. I'm tired of it.

You all like the music? Yes... a song called "I'm Okay (I Promise)" by My Chemical Romance. lol... I liek it. I'm not really great with technology, computers in particular. It sucks but oh well.

OH! I got a new cell phone!  It's a very cool one! It's a camera phone that can flip open and stuff and the buttons are cute and the outside's blue and silver.  I feel SO cool with it. If you guys want the number, just let me know via AIM, MSN, or e-mail! It's my little baby.  Oh... I'm also quite happy about my answering message.  For those of you that have heard of it and are like "what the HECK?!", I have two words for you: Microsoft Sam. haha....

*sigh* Internet sucks. I have sbcglobal, right? Well, it didn't work and then my dd called our computer guy. You know, the dude that you call if you have trouble with mr. Computer? OK... fine, most of you guys won't have that, but I most certainly do!  Wow... after using her computer, I realised I'm happy with what I have. She has a mouse with a ball inside. I have a laser one. This is SO MUCH anoying-er. lol... Excuse my lack of grammar.

*sigh* Wow...this summer has gone by quick. SCHOOL'S TOMORROW!!!  I still have about 50 literary terms to look up and my Algebra 2 homework. One thing I'm unsure about is bus. Why? Because the lady told me 6:25 am. I want to know if there's a shuttle bus or something. Farheen got a letter. Why can't I get a letter?  Oh well. Can't always have what you want.

For the first time in Iris History, I'm going to take the bus to school on the First Day of School. Isn't that great? lol...  I dunno yet, but it would be interesting. I'm getting sleepy just thinking about waking up at that time. So early... *yawn*

Why do juniors have to go to the gym? I don't understand that! Which gym? Well I know one thing. I'm going to wander around the commons for as long as I can.  Until I find someone I know or something which would most likely happen considering I'm taking the bus instead of the car. Only one bummer with not taking the car: I'm not going to be driving myself with my dad next to me.  Oh well, there are other times.

lol...  Nothing much happening. Oh...well, the guy on my left is breathing funnily with noise. I think there's something lodged up in his nostril.  hahaha...OK. Well...

Is this background pic better? Well, if you can't see it, scroll up.  Plus this is probably going to be the last time I'm going to go to the library before school starts so if you don't, I can't change it.  *sigh*

Well, I was supposed to go to Hightower and be there at 5 pm but I couldn't. My mom got home at 5 and my mom didn't want me to go. "After all, we were decorating." So, I compromised and I said "fine, but can I go to the library?" Well, we all know what happened after that: she agreed. And she just whacked my arm.  She wants to leave here.

Well, there was a slight obstacle when we got here. I forgot to put the car in "PARK" and I turned off the car. It was still on "DRIVE". Well, my incompetance for computers also goes for cars, automobiles, etc - except radios, TVs, DVD and VHS players, and CD players.  So, I'm a hopeless case.  I wish cars can just read your mind and they also have this software for blocking parent's voices when they berate you on your so-called "bad driving". Well, I must admit that it was interesting even though my mom was raving at me (not like the little hand thingy, but as in yelling - angrily).

My Someone went to a meeting today for school. She works at Hodges Bend as a Head Cashier in the cafeteria. Anyways, the point of bringing her up is that this year, lunch is going to be different. Those of you guys that read the Fort Bend paper that they mailed to us will know - those that don't, will not. Well, for those that are clueless (like me), this is for you.

Fries are going to be cut. You cannot buy more than a "carton" at a time. The prices are all jacked up. Carbonated drinks as well as sweets have decreased. Basically, lunch will be a nightmare. I don't really care since my mom makes me my lunch also since I'm a vegetarian, but for you guys that eat at school - tough luck and I give you my sympathies. Well, I better go now. My mom just threatened to leave me here.
